34. Vladimir Guerrero

Right fielder and designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero spent sixteen solid seasons in the Major Baseball League (MLB). He is a nine time all star, and was once voted as the American League’s Most Valuable Player. This is because he was directly instrumental in leading the Angels to five AL West championships. A fan poll also names him as one of the most feared hitters from the league.

Guerrero’s incredible strength makes him an asset to have in a zombie apocalypse. He has an immensely strong throwing arm, a skill which could prove quite valuable. And as a hitter, he’s one of the strongest there’s ever been. With tons of home runs under his belt, he’s got a rather impressive batting average. He’s one of the all-time hitting leaders from the Dominican Republic.

What’s unique about Guerrero is his ability to hit the balls well outside of his strike zone. This gives him the reputation of being the best “bad ball hitter” in the MLB. Not only can this guy hit hard, but he apparently has incredible focus and aim as well. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, those skills would certainly translate into something of value for the former Baltimore Orioles player.
