27. Michael Jordan

There’s probably not too much explanation needed here. Everybody knows who Michael Jordan is, even people who’ve never seen a single basketball game. He’s one of the most famous athletes in history, commonly said to be the greatest NBA player that there will ever be.

Not many people have been able to fly through the air the way Jordan has. With the nickname of Air Jordan, he inspired a popular brand of shoe based on his abilities. There’s going to be a lot of evading to make it towards a certain destination in a zombie apocalypse, the same way Jordan goes for a slam dunk on the court.

Jordan’s immense fame also makes keeping him around beneficial. Not everyone on this list will make people starstruck, but Jordan has perhaps the greatest shot. If you’re walking around with the legendary Michael Jordan, you may get some instant respect from some of the strangers you’d come across.

You’ve also got to keep in mind that when the Monstars tried to defeat the Looney Tunes in basketball, it was Michael Jordan who helped them win. That’s arguably more impressive than all of the accolades Michael has earned in his stellar basketball career. If Michael can take on Nerdlucks from outer space, then it should be a cinch to deal with the shambling walkers of the apocalypse.
