Season 7 has been one of ups and downs for Rick Grimes. Andrew Lincoln talks about his character at The Walking Dead panel at PaleyFest 2017.
Andrew Lincoln clearly enjoys bringing Rick Grimes to life on The Walking Dead. While it isn’t always easy, it’s always rewarding. Lincoln discussed his character’s development this season on The Walking Dead during the show’s panel at PaleyFest 2017 in Los Angeles on Friday night.
PaleyFest is a celebration of television and media, and the panels are famous for bringing together stars from some of the biggest shows on television. The Walking Dead is a frequent guest at PaleyFest, and few shows get the kind of reception that the hit AMC zombie drama series gets.
Lincoln was looking stylish on the red carpet during the arrivals, posing with cast members and crew, and some major celebrity fans, including musician Slash from Guns N Roses.

Not surprisingly, Lincoln had a lot to say about Rick Grimes during the panel, including how he deals with the intensity of the emotions from some of these episodes along with how he views his relationship with Michonne, and whether or not the pair will have children in the future. He also describes how he envisions Rick’s death in an alternate universe.
