7. Chain Decapitation Walkers

In the season finale of season 5 “Conquer” Aaron and Daryl are out on a supply run. They come across what looks like huge trucks loaded with food and supplies. But the trucks are a trap set by The Wolves. When they open one of the trailer doors walkers come streaming out.

Daryl and Aaron try to run but are quickly surrounded. As they try to fight their way out of the area where the trucks are parked and make it back out to an open field Daryl gets trapped between two trucks. He picks up a chain from the ground and uses it almost like a whip to hit the walkers. He manages to smash the heads of three walkers at the same time. That gives him the chance to escape.

This is definitely one of the most brutal walker kills on The Walking Dead because of the carnage. The chain rips through the heads of those walkers smashing bone, tearing flesh, and sending blood and brain matter flying. It’s an added bonus that he was able to kill three walkers at the same time with the chain.

Ultimately the two end up trapped in a car surrounded by walkers. Just as they are going to try and fight their way out together Morgan appears. He clears the area around the car and they take him back to Alexandria.
