“I know you’re a good man.The day’s coming where you can’t be that good. When that happens, don’t beat yourself up about it.” ~Richard

This is an interesting bit of lovely advice and ominous foreshadowing. Richard is actually telling Morgan not to feel bad about killing and Morgan will have to not feel bad about killing Richard. It’s a beautiful and twisted story of similar men with similar families, similar problems who want the same things, but get it in different ways.

Morgan gets what Richard wanted for the Kingdom by killing Richard. He shows Richard’s words about him being a good man are true by burying him in the grave Richard had already dug for himself.

Hopefully, Morgan will remember Richard’s words and not beat himself up about it.
