11) Benjamin’s last words to Morgan are “To injure an opponent, is to injure yourself.” — The lesson Morgan was trying to teach him earlier in the episode. This is ironic as this is, essentially, what Richard succeeded in doing whilst trying to show Ezekiel how precarious their relationship with The Saviors was.

12) After Benjamin dies, Morgan has series of flashbacks of his days in Crazytown from season three’s “Clear”. This is the first time we’ve seen a reference to this period since season six’s “Here’s Not Here”.

13) Just before the aforementioned flashback, there is a green crate overturned on the sidewalk. However, when Morgan kicks the crate over, it’s yellow. Was this an error?

14) During Morgan’s flashback, we also see flashes of Duane, who we haven’t seen since Rick left him and his dad in the pilot episode, “Days Gone Bye”.

15) Richard confessing to Morgan his intent with orchestrating the shortage is, essentially, him doing what Daryl told him to do during their argument in “New Best Friends”. During said argument, Daryl asked him that if he wanted to die for The Kingdom, then, why doesn’t he?
