#3. Does Maggie blame Daryl for Glenn’s death?

It’s been a while since the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead when Negan did what he did to both Abraham and Glenn. But the details of why the leader of The Saviors killed Glenn are still fresh in the head of viewers.

Daryl jumping out of the lineup to punch Negan in the face had some bad results. To make a statement, Negan had to follow through on his promise to kill again and chose to make Glenn the example.

Since then, Daryl was locked in a cell by The Saviors and then hid out at The Kingdom. It was only when he arrived at The Hilltop that he was able to see Maggie again. Even then, he struggled to find any words to say about how he felt.

Those emotions came out in the cellar. Maggie absolved him of any guilt for Glenn’s death and told him just how important he is to everyone. This was an emotional moment for both of them, and being able to clear that slate going forward can help to put them on the same page again.
