The Good Stuff from 715

  1. Tara shows guilt. Breaking a promise sucks. Seriously, after that, it is hard to ever trust someone again. Especially when that promise has to do with keeping an entire community full of women and children safe. That will be on her conscience for a long time and likely eat away at her.
  2. Negan does have values. When Negan walked in on David, it was hard to know just how he’d punish him. Showing intolerance for unwanted sexual advancement was a very positive thing to show, continuing to make the leader of The Saviors even more of a human instead of heartless villain.
  3. Eugene admits why he stayed in The Sanctuary. His reasoning made sense. Being someone who isn’t combat inclined is hard in the zombie apocalypse, especially when bravery isn’t a strong suit. But his explanation to Sasha was absolutely perfect and was great relating to Abraham as well.
  4. A standoff between Oceanside and Alexandria. The intensity of Natanya holding Tara hostage while Rick tried to explain their situation made for some great television. Something had to give. Eventually, Natanya decided to give up the weapons, but that doesn’t mean nobody from Oceanside will join.
  5. Eugene doing what he can for Sasha. He may be Negan, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any love for the people of Alexandria or the surrounding communities. For him to give her the suicide pill he made for Negan’s wife had to be a huge challenge for him.
