The Bad Things From 715

  1. Sasha being captured. Normally, because captured instead of being killed is a good thing. However, when dealing with The Saviors, death can be a much better end than whatever David had planned for her. And that doesn’t mean Negan’s ‘friendly’ approach would be better.
  2. Gregory continues to be slimy. His discussion with Maggie outside The Hilltop was both demeaning and condescending. Him reaching out an olive branch is just an attempt to stay i control of the community and not something she should take seriously, especially with Simon on speed dial.
  3. Maggie struggling with one walker? One of the most difficult things to believe from this episode was that Maggie wouldn’t have been able to make extremely short work of that walker outside The Hilltop. She’s a very capable survivor and has dealt with groups of them before, so it was strange to watch.
  4. Not leaving Oceanside anything. It’s understandable that Rick and Alexandria need lots of guns, but leaving Oceanside unprotected and vulnerable after setting off explosions and possibly leading The Saviors there is a real jerk move. Showing a little bit of humanity would have been nice.
  5. Alexandria’s reaction to Dwight. While they don’t know the kind of torture and pain that Negan has put him through, the people of Alexandria should be interested in hearing what Dwight has to say and why he wants to join them. It was a big show of trust to lock himself up, especially after he was directly responsible for Denise’s death.
