The sneak peek from the season 7 finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead features King Ezekiel and Morgan having a conversation about the impending war.

Time never seems to move as quickly as it does when The Walking Dead has new episodes. It feels like just a few weeks ago when the midseason premiere of AMC’s zombie drama brought the excitement back to fans. Now, it’s about to disappear again.

However, one episode still stands between the end of season 7 and the long wait for season 8. But that one episode is a big one: the season 7 finale on April 2, 2017 titled ‘The First Day of the Rest of Your Life’.

Here is the sneak peek for the season 7 finale on April 2, 2017 as shared on the official YouTube account of AMC:

The sneak peek kicks off with King Ezekiel offering a place in his army to Morgan as they prepare for war against Negan and The Saviors.

Ezekiel explains that their foes are ‘a dragon with many heads’ and numerous, appealing to Morgan, who stands firmly at attention while completely silent.

The King realizes that Morgan is wearing Benjamin’s old armor as the camera pans out, showing Shiva and Carol by his side. Ezekiel asks him if he wears to serve himself or in his honor, reminding him that he’s not stuck.

Once again, Ezekiel asks for Morgan to join them and form an alliance to take down Negan and The Saviors. Still silent, Morgan nods. The Kingdom roll out with their soldiers in tow marching toward battle.
