A shadow appears under the door, and then there is a knock. It is revealed to be Eugene. He says that he considered her request for a way out of the situation and has decided to give her the chance to do so.
Eugene takes a plastic bag out from his pocket and slips it under the crack in the door. Inside, one of the pills he made for Negan’s wives was included. He explains that it is a poison pill and will end things for her if she decides to do so.
He says that he believes it is painless, but it not certain. Sasha has a pained look on her face. She likely wanted a weapon or a blade to use on Negan, but instead got a poison pill that is almost useless against the leader of The Saviors.
Eugene unknowingly rubs it in her face by talking about how honest, brave, and self-aware she is. These words hit Sasha even harder as he says he hopes she doesn’t do it, but may already be ‘gone’ anyway and walks away from the door.
