Sliding Into The Badlands down our throats. I understand the move in putting AMC’s martial arts drama between The Walking Dead and Talking Dead. Even though I don’t like that move, I get it. Putting another advertisement before the season 7 finale was overkill when combined with the normal commercials. People likely won’t watch out of spite.
Trust A Move moving company. There was a good laugh to be had every single time the truck showing the logo on the side. Of course, this is a play on the old school hip-hop song ‘Bust A Move’ by Young MC, a classic for many folks who enjoyed the more fun days of hip-hop.
Sasha arriving in a casket. There is something about the games that Negan plays that are just so darned amusing. Bringing her in a casket is another of The Saviors power plays that show just how dirty Negan can play with the minds of people without even trying too hard to do so.
The eyes have it. Normally, talk would be all about Carl’s eye, but Shiva essentially eating the eye of a member of The Saviors and then how puffed up and gross Michonne’s eye looked just adds to the situation. As someone who gets squeamish from eye stuff, these scenes were disgustingly fantastic.
Changing Holly’s death. Holly’s death from the comics was something that had already been done on Fear The Walking Dead. So, the casket scene from the show was a great twist on that situation and made it feel unique, as not to double up on things across the zombie shows.
