#2. Is Eugene fully Team Negan now?

When Negan took Eugene from Alexandria, it would have been hard to imagine that the change in scenery would make such a huge impact on Eugene. He took to the position of power like a fish to water, embracing and enjoying it.

But the thing he liked the most was the safety of the situation. He knew that with his position in The Sanctuary that he wouldn’t have to worry about something like what happened to Abraham ever happening to him.

Eugene declared his position to Alexandria when he rode up with The Saviors and was the voice on the megaphone. It was confirmed even further when Rick asked where Negan was, and Eugene replied that he is Negan.

While that was heartbreaking, one of the most crushing moments of the season 7 finale was when Rick gave the signal to Rosita to detonate the explosives in the moving truck right next to Eugene, which would have certainly killed him if they had gone off.
