#3. Will Dwight really work with Alexandria?
It’s hard to imagine that the people of Alexandria would be able to trust Dwight after everything he’s done and how deep he was within The Saviors organization when working with Negan to keep Sherry safe.
He stayed strong when threatened by Daryl and Tara, and explained his situation. After hearing out his side, Rick agreed to let Dwight go to slow down The Saviors from reaching their community and work with them.
Sadly, Dwight’s efforts were mostly all for naught. Without knowledge of the plan involving The Scavengers, he was left pretending to fight against the people of Alexandria while really shooting far over their heads.
Dwight left one of his carved statues for Daryl to find. On the back, the words ‘didn’t know’ were written. Hopefully, this will help to get Alexandria to trust him more now that he’s stayed as true to his word to Rick as possible.
