Who is (and isn’t) on your Walking Dead apocalypse team?

Undead Walking’s Twitter followers were asked a question about choices for their “Apocalypse Team” and the answers were very interesting.

If you were faced with a full scale zombie apocalypse, who would you want to be on your team? Or more importantly, who wouldn’t you want on your team? We wanted to know who the TWD Family would choose, or not choose, for their zombie apocalypse teams, and the answers were very surprising.

Here’s the question asked on Twitter: Of all The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead characters, who is your first pick for your zombie apocalypse survival team, and who would you pick last?

The answers were really interesting. There were 15 characters named as first choice selections and 27 on the last choice list, and a surprising three characters who made both lists. What this tells you is that the TWD Family was fairly consistent in terms of their first choices, but the last pick is where the fun was.

To the surprise of no one, Daryl came in with the most votes (20), followed by Rick (15), Maggie and Michonne with 6 and Carol with 5. Some of the other notable selections were Shiva, Jesus, Tara, Aaron, Ofelia, and Andrea. Ofelia was the only member of the Fear the Walking Dead cast to be named to the first choice list.

Gregory was the top choice as the last pick for the TWD Family’s Apocalypse Teams, followed by Judith, Gabriel and Eugene. The entire cast of Fear the Walking Dead was picked 4 times, while Travis was the least favorite of the bunch followed by Madison, Chris and Nick. Tabitha the Goat got a nod, as did Lizzie, who, most fans agreed, was a bad choice to watch your back. Sam and his brother also made the list, as did Lori, Tobin, Aaron’s boyfriend Eric and Carol’s husband.

One of the most interesting aspect of the picks was the three characters that made both lists. Carol, Daryl, and … Negan. Negan had two votes for the first choice list and one vote for the last choice list.
