Red Nose Day is fast approaching and to celebrate we’re looking back to The Walking Dead parody created for the 2016 event.

Who says The Walking Dead can’t be funny? While the premise of wearing a red clown nose seems silly, the idea behind Red Nose Day is to raise money to help children living in poverty, both here in the United States and all over the world. Celebrities and sports stars come together each year to raise awareness of the event while Walgreens sells red noses to raise money.

This year, The Walking Dead will be represented when Andrew Lincoln reprises his role from the classic holiday movie Love Actually. When the film premiered in 2003 Andrew Lincoln was well known in the UK but all these years later see him as one of the cast’s biggest stars. To celebrate Red Nose Day 2017, the entire cast of Love Actually filmed a reunion that will air on NBC on May 25th.

For this throwback Thursday, let’s remember the Red Nose Day 2016 video from Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln, in which The Walking Dead actors drink milkshakes and contemplate a way to make their show lighter in tone.

The video brings together several members of the cast from past and present seasons, including departed members like Steven Yeun, Sonequa Martin-Greene, Merle Dixon’s arm prosthesis, and David Morrissey as Elvis Presley. In short, it’s perfection.
