Ryan Samuels

Better known as the father of Lizzie and Mika, Ryan actually had a bit of a story on the show. His family was living in Jacksonville, Florida. It is unknown what happened with his wife before they arrived at the prison.
Ryan took a keen interest in his daughters, and was seen sitting in on Carol’s story time at the prison before giving her a wave and leaving. His love for his family was never questioned and he was willing to do whatever it took to protect them.
Ryan was one of the individuals fighting back against the walkers in the prison. During his efforts, he was bitten on the arm by one of the zombies. When the walkers were clear, Carol brought him to a room in hopes of amputating his arm.
However, he had also been bitten on the neck. Knowing there was no surviving this attack, he asked Carol to look after his daughters and says goodbye to his girls and asks Lizzie to take care of Mika. After his death, Carol stabs him in the head to keep him from turning into a walker.
