Zach

While fans might not remember much about Zach, his character was a lot of fun and actually had a love interest. It looked as though he was going to be a potential boyfriend for Beth Greene for a while, since they shared a kiss before his supply run.

During the run to Big Spot with Daryl Dixon and Bob Stookey, they exchanged jokes and were having a good time. However, the walkers proved to be a major obstacle for Zach, who was bitten on the leg by a crawling zombie.

The walkers overtake him and begin to eat him alive just as a helicopter comes crashing through the roof of the store. At that point, the surviving members of the scavenger run return to the prison to break the news to the rest of the people.

Of course, Beth took the news the hardest. Even though she pretended not to be too upset with Zach’s death, it was easy to tell that it was tearing her up a bit…and that burden would sit with her for a long while.
