#3. Safe sex in the apocalypse

Oh boy. Here is goes. This is the part where things are going to get sexy! Or at least kind of awkward. So, with so much free time in the zombie apocalypse, the survivors are bound to do something…and with that, it could be making love.

However, one result of having intercourse can be a child. Ignoring other possible outcomes like STDs or infections, there are some questions as to whether or not children should be brought into the zombie apocalypse and how that situation can be prevented with limited resources.

There have been times this issue has been addressed, with Maggie’s condoms or Lori’s abortion pills. However, the real question comes when birth control resources are not available anymore…especially with Negan and his wives and other couples getting frisky.

The most likely solution is that any available precautions will be made, and then lovers will be careful to minimize the odds of contraception. Still, it’s strange that with all the sex that goes on with couples like Rick/Michonne, Carol/Tobin, Abraham/Rosita, Negan/anybody, and others that there aren’t more young children in the zombie apocalypse.
