#4. Going after Negan

Tina Rose Halcom on Facebook: “How is the group planning on killing Negan? And will Negan ever die?”

Let’s start with the second part of this question first, since I like to do things as awkwardly as possible. To be perfectly honest, I don’t see Negan dying on The Walking Dead any time soon. He’s far too popular of a character and can make AMC a LOT of money as one of the major faces of the show.

For those reasons, he is likely to stick around for numerous seasons. However, that doesn’t mean that the survivors in the other communities and maybe even some from within The Sanctuary won’t make attempts at his life.

Honestly, other than a few horribly planned rogue missions to kill Negan, he doesn’t seem to be the focus of the survivors when battling. The group has had several opportunities to kill him or at least have great chances to do so, and have never taken them.

Not only that, but Rick and the group may talk about wanting to get Negan back, but they never discuss anything substantial as far as a plan to kill him. And that makes me wonder if they really even want to take him out or what else they have planned for the leader of The Saviors.
