Official featurette for Fear the Walking Dead season 3: ‘A Look Ahead’
By Adam Carlson
The third season of Fear The Walking Dead is set to premiere on Sunday and AMC is making sure fans understand just how intense things are going to get.
When Fear The Walking Dead made its series debut, it was too slow for many viewers since the zombie apocalypse was so fresh and fans couldn’t find themselves getting quickly attached to many of the characters.
Now, heading into season 3, all that has changed. These characters have grown significantly over the past 2 seasons and the threat of the undead has grown to intense levels, not to mention the threat of other humans.
To help get fans excited for season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead, AMC has released an official featurette on their YouTube channel titled ‘A Look Ahead’. Check it out right here:
Intense situations and amazing drama seem to be the normal in this featurette. Kicking things off with Nick leaving a tunnel and being surrounded by the undead is just the tip of the iceberg of what fans can expect in season 3.

Also included in the video are multiple fast acting scenes including helicopters, survivors being taken captive, and a strange group of people who are serving coffee, but weighing in the new arrivals.
One of the major focuses of this video is Travis, who is struggling in a major way after losing Liza in season 1 and Chris in season 2. Now, the only family he really has left is the Clark family because of his relationship with Madison.
The question of who the leader of this group is can still be debated. Madison has made too many emotional decisions rather than rational ones and Travis still hasn’t fully grasped that it is the end of the civilized world.
