#3. Walkers in the cold weather
One of the best theories about surviving the zombie apocalypse is climate-based. Living where temperatures drop below freezing would be enough to slow and freeze the walkers and allow for easy disposal.
Then, the summers could be light on walkers. However, living in that cold of a climate also presents many problems as well. Humans need to be able to sustain living conditions, which includes growing their own food and raising livestock.
But if there were a way to keep growing food and raising animals in a colder climate, it could be a wonderful defense against the walkers…but it would have to be temperatures below freezing to really make a big difference.
Fans may actually get to see this in the future, at least in the comics, since the group appears to be on the move to Ohio. But it likely won’t be cold enough to see the kind of major difference unless it moves even further north.
