The bad things from Fear 302

  1. Losing Travis. Wow. I didn’t see that coming at all. Travis just had a fantastic episode in the season 3 premiere and just like that he’s gone. Watching his body fall out of the helicopter to the ground was hard, considering everything he fought for to get to this point. A big loss for the show.
  2. Nick being afraid of himself. It’s interesting that Nick isn’t afraid of the people at the ranch or the walkers, but instead he warns his own mother not to let him stay there too long because of what he might do. He needs to be more sure of himself if he needs to contribute. But Madison needs him to trust her.
  3. Yelling inappropriate things. “His son’s a murderer” isn’t a great thing to yell when someone gives you a roof with beds in a relatively safe community. Like Madison said, she needs to be able have a trust with Nick, and outbursts like that aren’t going to keep anyone safe.
  4. Telling Strand to leave. It doesn’t make much sense that after a successful procedure he would be kicked out of the community. It would have made sense if the child had died, but instead they don’t want him to be discovered as a fraud, so they don’t even want to try.
  5. ‘There are no more generations’. Sadly, if someone has that outlook, they may as well already be dead. Hopelessness keeps anyone from pushing on, especially if they can’t find a single reason to continue surviving.
