#4. How will Travis deal with the death of his son?

Watching the evolution of Travis over the first two seasons was amazing. He wanted to expect the best from people and work out solutions that could be beneficial to every involved party, but the zombie apocalypse doesn’t work that way.

Plus, with the loss of his ex-wife Liza and son Chris, Travis struggled to realize just how much the world around him had changed and instead beat himself up over not being able to protect the ones he loved.

This all led up to Travis killing one of the boys who were at least partially responsible for Chris’ death. This seemed to really scar the former teacher, as he was rather emotional about it when asked at the base.

Sadly, the emotional journey for Travis came to a close when he was shot in the helicopter heading to the Broken Arrow Ranch and then dropped himself from the air down to the hard earth. He will be missed.
