With 24: Legacy cancelled, that might free up Corey Hawkins for The Walking Dead. Let’s imagine what Heath would see upon his return to Alexandria.

Word came down from Fox that 24: Legacy has been cancelled after its freshman season. The Walking Dead’s Corey Hawkins left to play the lead in 24: Legacy, so with the show cancelled, could he be heading back to Alexandria? While it’s too early to know anything definitively, let’s examine the world Heath will return to should he finally make it back to Alexandria.

The last time we saw Heath, he had been separated from Tara on the bridge during their supply run. Tara ended up in Oceanside while Heath was gone without a trace and we haven’t seen him since.

When Tara and Heath departed Alexandria on their supply run, things were going well. They were not there to live through the events of the season 7 premiere, when Negan introduced Lucille to Abraham and Glenn. Spencer was alive. There were no more Saviors because they killed everyone at the outpost and the mission was a success.

If Heath were to show up in Alexandria now, he’d see that his friends were dead, the community has been through a horrible battle, and war is brewing on the horizon.

(He might be better off staying away, honestly!)

We know that Heath is not someone to cut and run. He’s a fighter and there’s no question that he would immediately join in the fight with his fellow Alexandrians. That’s a good thing, because Rick needs all the people he can get. It’s also possible that Heath was able to find more supplies along the way, so he might return with much-needed supplies.
