Fear The Walking Dead, The New Frontier: Things To Note

1) This episode begins with a helicopter flying through the air, much like the third episode of Season Three of The Walking Dead, “Walk With Me”.
2) Just as in “Walk With Me”, the helicopter crashed. However, in that episode, the helicopter was brought down by mechanical failure, as opposed to gunfire.
3) In yet another parallel to the beginnings of Season Three of The Walking Dead, the significant other of the protagonist dies. In The Walking Dead, Lori died of blood loss when Maggie attempted to perform a C-section, yet, in this case, Travis died from taking a bullet to the neck.
4) This episode is the first (Thus far) this season to change up the siren sound effect during the title sequence.
5) This episode (As well as the previous one) does not take its title from something said or written by a character in that episode, a common practice in the previous season.
