#3. How will Alicia deal with her losses?

While much of the focus of the show so far has been on Madison’s relationship with Nick, Travis trying to adapt to the apocalypse, and Ofelia trying to forgive her father for lying to her her whole life, Alicia tends to get lost in the shuffle.

She got an invite from Gretchen to join a religious group of young folks, but hesitated to join. Making excuses about why she couldn’t go, Alicia was seemingly doing everything she could to avoid hanging out with the group.

Eventually, she decided to join up with them and see what it was all about. She found a group of kids doing drugs and The impact of killing someone and living among the dead came up, especially when the head of a walker in a birdcage was introduced.

Alicia obviously has a lot to work through when it comes to getting over all the trauma that the zombie apocalypse has put on her. While the group is unconventional, it is getting her to discuss her feelings, which is a positive thing.
