Fear the Walking Dead missing person alert: #WhereIsOfelia?

With (returning character spoiler alert!) back and three episodes of Fear the Walking Dead season 3 in the bag, now we really have to ask the question: Where is Ofelia?

On the June 11 episode of Talking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead star Mercedes Mason appeared in a video with a series of cue cards that ultimately asked the question: Where is Ofelia?

Spoilers below if you haven’t seen Fear the Walking Dead “TEOTWAWKI.”

In her series of cue cards, Mason mentions the fact that star Ruben Blades is back on the show as Daniel Salazar. We haven’t seen Daniel since everything fell apart at Casa de Abigail halfway through season 2. We knew he was coming back because showrunners vehemently denied that he was dead, and now it seems like he’s officially back on the show. That begs the question: Where the heck is Ofelia?

Ofelia decided to leave Madison, Alicia and Strand back at the resort to strike out on her own. We know she was heading toward the border after visiting a place where she’d met her one-time fiance, but then we lost track of her and haven’t seen her since.

So, where is she?

Like her father, it’s possible that Ofelia will pop up all of a sudden. Might she already be a resident of Broke Jaw Ranch, or will we find her working for Dante? Ofelia could be all by herself, too. She was picking up survival skills and can defend herself, but self-defense is only one piece of the puzzle. She also needs to find shelter and food.

Now that #WhereIsOfelia has become something of a running joke (along the lines of Heath disappearing on The Walking Dead) we can safely assume that we’re going to see Ofelia again soon.
