Chandler Riggs and The Walking Dead alums at Disneyland
The Walking Dead may be shooting season 8, but Chandler Riggs took a day off to go to the Happiest Place on Earth with some familiar friends.
Graduation season means lots of grads heading to Disneyland for Grad Night. One of the park guests on June 11 is not only a recent high school graduate, he’s the star of The Walking Dead and his friends are highly recognizable alums of the show.
Chandler Riggs was spotted near the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland on June 11, and he was joined by Brighton Sharbino and Kyla Kenedy. Sharbino and Kenedy famously portrayed Lizzie and Mika Samuels on The Walking Dead, and seeing them with Riggs at Disneyland is so mind-warpingly cool because we all know what happened to the sisters after they fled the prison. (“Look at the flowers…”)
The three teens look like they’re having a lot of fun, and it’s nice to see that people are letting them have fun without pestering them during their visit.

Riggs has not made any public statements about which college he plans to attend in the fall, but as far as we know he will go to college while filming the show. Both Sharbino and Kenedy are 14, so they’re a few years away from their own high school graduations.
Disneyland has always been a popular destination for celebrities. Most recently, The Walking Dead alum Michael Rooker was spotted in the park celebrating the debut of the new Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout ride. Rooker plays Yondu, one of the more colorful characters in the Marvel franchise, which is perfect for him.

We have just over a month until we find out more about the eighth season of The Walking Dead when the trailer debuts at San Diego Comic Con, but for now it’s good to see Chandler Riggs having some fun with some of his former cast members.
