8) Considering Madison was so adamant about her atheism in the previous episode, it’s funny to see her stop Alicia from shooting down Gretchen’s offer to join her Bible study.
9) Nick trying to feed Luciana as she lay in her infirmary bed parallels Alicia feeding Nick in the hospital in the pilot episode.
10) It’s curious to hear Troy’s analysis of Madison’s speech at Charlene’s funeral. To be honest, I don’t disagree, and I find his perception impressive.
11) Incidentally, when you think of how much emphasis not just his dad, but the whole group puts on being prepared, Troy’s interest in learning about the infected makes much more sense.
12) Troy recounts to Madison that he had social problems in school. Because he uses the delicate language of his report card, we don’t know what, specifically, those problems entailed.
13) Strangely, despite the fact Madison nearly cost him his eye, it’s Nick Troy seems to have a problem with.
