Fear The Walking Dead, TEOTWAWKI: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
14) Strand’s visit to the dam is the first time in either Walking Dead series we’ve seen a working utility plant in the apocalypse.
15) Apparently, Dante has a very nice gig trading water for supplies, another first in either series.
16) Is the beginning of this episode Madison watching Jeremiah’s video tapes?
17) Alicia reminds Nick that their dad used to take her to an equestrian center. This is the first we’ve heard of this bit of characterization for Alicia.
18) Gretchen and her friends keeping an infected head in a cage seems like a scaled-down, dryer version of The Governor’s “Aquarium” in The Walking Dead.
19) Jeremiah explains to Madison that his belligerent behavior seen on the original tape was due to his alcoholism. This very reminiscent of another old farmer in The Walking Dead universe: Hershel.
20) Jeremiah answers a question that Troy had sort of left hanging in “Eye Of The Beholder” by informing Madison that Troy’s mom had died before the outbreak.
21) While Strand reminisces with Dante, the subject of Thomas comes up. This is the first time we’ve seen Strand really react to Thomas’s death since it occurred in “Sicut Cervus”.
22) Gretchen tells Alicia that Troy “took Geoff’s body”. Does this mean he was conducting “science” somewhere on or near the ranch?
