The good stuff from Fear 304

  1. Water really is the currency of the apocalypse. It’s nice to see the other side of the situation with the water. We saw some of it with Dante and the others at the dam, but now it’s interesting to see the impact it is having on the other survivors.
  2. More gross stuff. Scraping the burned and infected flesh off Daniel Salazar’s leg was hard to watch. For a show based in the zombie apocalypse, there aren’t many moments that make people uncomfortable, but this one definitely did the trick. Nicely done, Fear!
  3. Saying a prayer for the undead. It’s always interesting to see how other survivors treat the undead. For Efrain, saying a little something to relieve the walkers of their sins before driving a nail in their heads is something unique and interesting.
  4. Daniel getting recognized. So far, Daniel’s stories have just been stories. Even though he’s shown the skills he was talking about, it’s nice to have them all confirmed by Dante, who both recognized his name and the tattoo inside his lip for confirmation.
  5. Recruiting Daniel Salazar. Dante was right to want Daniel on his side. He’s a smart man who will do whatever it takes to survive and get back to his daughter. Sadly, Daniel isn’t as committed to helping Dante, but that’s all for the best when it comes to Daniel’s long-term plan.
