Fear the Walking Dead returns to Broke Jaw Ranch in season 3 episode 5’s “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame.” Here’s what you can expect in this episode.
With Daniel in charge of the dam, it’s time to check back in with Madison and the Clark family at Broke Jaw Ranch. In this week’s “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame,” Madison embarks on a mission with Troy and together they make some interesting discoveries. Meanwhile, Alicia is forced to wrestle with her demons.
Here is the official synopsis for Fear the Walking Dead “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame” from AMC:
"“A new threat reveals itself to Madison and Troy as they search for answers. Alicia must reconcile with her past decisions.”"
The last time we saw Madison at Broke Jaw Ranch, she had volunteered to go with Troy on a mission to Outpost Alpha to find out what’s going on outside of the ranch. The mystery of who shot down the helicopter is still very much an issue when it comes to the safety and security of the ranch, but what will Madison and Troy discover outside the walls?
It will also be interesting to see how Troy and Madison work together. Troy seems to have some level of respect for Madison, and Madison knows it. Will they work well together, and will her presence on the team help the Clarks to gain respect at the ranch?

Alicia revealed a lot about herself to the “Bible Study” group. She still needs to work out some of the things she has done to get to where she is. With Nick back, and Madison working closely with Troy, Alicia is left on her own once again and she needs to work out her past so she can move forward with her future.
Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
