New sneak peek of Fear the Walking Dead: Madison vs Inmates

TV Guide Magazine released an exclusive clip from this week’s Fear the Walking Dead “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame.” In the clip, Madison comes out swinging.

Madison Clark might be one of the more polarizing characters on Fear the Walking Dead, but she seems to be making some major strides. As she embarks on the mission with Troy, she needs to bear in mind that a lot of the people at Broke Jaw Ranch want to see her fail. If she comes back strong, then she will prove she’s a force to be reckoned with (finally!) and it’s quite possible that Jeremiah will ensure that she is treated with respect moving forward.

In this exclusive clip from TV Guide Magazine, Madison and Troy encounter a group of prisoners who have turned into the Infected. They jump into action, and Madison gets down to business.

Madison suddenly knows how to fight. Whether she has been learning all this time, or the loss of Travis has led to her transformation into a badass. Whatever it is, she seems to be holding her own.

That is, until her ax gets stuck in one of the Infected inmates’ skull.

One of the other things worth noting is that Fear the Walking Dead fighting inmates in season 3 parallels with The Walking Dead fighting at the prison in season 3. Is it a nod to Big Sister? Perhaps. Either way, it’s good to see Madison fighting these days.
