Andy Robbins on Facebook asks: “When will we get to start seeing the tie-in between FtWD and TWD?”
And we got the same question from Susi on Twitter!
Now that Fear The Walking Dead is picking up a lot of traction in season 3 and gaining new viewers who may have previously abandoned the series, fans are starting to wonder what the tie-in is with the flagship AMC series.

Of course, the biggest thing the two have in common is that they exist in the same universe. While there is no character crossover or situational crossover as of yet, there is hope that there will be one in the future.
For now though, producers from both shows have gone on record as saying that there is no plan for intertwining the two shows at any time in the future, but that could all change as the two programs continue to grow and develop.
Thanks to a strong resurgence in Fear The Walking Dead, the show is looking like it can stand on its own in the long-term, meaning that keeping the two separate could be hugely profitable for AMC and keep the genre alive for a long time.
