Preview scene: Fear The Walking Dead episode 306 ‘Red Dirt’

Based on the teaser video for season 3 episode 6 of Fear The Walking Dead titled ‘Red Dirt’, fans won’t want to miss a minute of the July 2, 2017 episode.
Now that episode 305 of Fear The Walking Dead has come to a close, fans are already looking ahead to next week to think about what could be in store for our favorite survivors on the AMC zombie survival drama companion series.
Thankfully, the wait to get a look at what is in store is never a long one. AMC has already released a video showing a scene including some action packed and dramatic moments from season 3 episode 6 titled ‘Red Dirt’.

There is quite a bit going on in the video, so here is a breakdown of notable events from the scene which fans may want to pay attention to heading into next week:
Jake Otto is talking to Alicia at a firing range. She asks him if he is afraid, and he says that he is not. He says this is a violent place and always has been before putting on his noise cancelling earmuffs and taking aim.

Alicia stops him and wants him to show her how to properly fire the gun. He gives her a confused look for a moment before handing her the gun and showing her how the mechanisms of the firearm work and then stepping aside.
After some chat, Alicia drops to one knee and aims the gun at the target. Instead of shooting, she asks him about what happens when his father goes and what will happen to the ranch. He continues to give her directions on firing the gun instead.
Continuing to try to get information, Alicia says people look up to Jeremiah. Jake says the land will go to him and Troy when he dies, but people will look up to whoever is strong, and that could even be Alicia. Stopping him, Alicia says that Jeremiah wants it to be Jake who take charge.
Jake puts the earmuffs on Alicia and instructs her to breathe out while squeezing the trigger.
