#3. Is there romance between Alicia and Jake?
There had been some hints of sparks between these two characters since they met in the season 3 premiere and viewers finally got to see them interact even more in ‘Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame’.
Thankfully, that storyline took the next step during this episode, where Jake made fun of her for her ‘bible studies’, which prompted her to visit him at his place.
When there, they started discussing the current situation before she went in and planted a big kiss on him, leading to even more physical contact when the two had sex before discussing literature and the bleakness of existence.
Hopefully, Jake will be able to instill some hope into Alicia in the future and she can help him realize that he can the leader the people of Broke Jaw Ranch the people need and not just a right hand man to help out when needed.
