In the two-hour midseason finale of Fear the Walking Dead, things continue to fall apart at Broke Jaw Ranch. Here’s your synopsis of “The Unveiling.”

Things are unraveling at Broke Jaw Ranch, and as Walker’s people start closing in it’s only going to get worse. In the two-hour season finale of Fear the Walking Dead, we see what happens as Madison tries to hold things together in the face of grave danger on multiple fronts.

Here is the official synopsis of Fear the Walking Dead episode 307 “The Unveiling” from AMC:

“A new arrival sows a divide within the ranch. Meanwhile, Alicia forms a new relationship in the hopes of maintaining the peace.”

The new arrival could be anyone at this point: Daniel Salazar, Strand, or even Ofelia. Or it could be someone else entirely. We can assume that this new arrival is likely someone that Madison knows, and the new arrival’s presence makes things complicated given how Madison has been working with the Otto family in order to protect her own family.

Madison made the difficult decision to protect Troy Otto’s deadly secret, that he killed the Trimbols, in order to help inspire the people of Broke Jaw Ranch to stay and fight for their home instead of running away from Walker and his people. Could someone come along and try to convince her to change her plans?

Alicia has been making plans of her own, and they involve getting close to Jake Otto. Not only does it make good sense strategically, but she also likes him. Alicia is learning to play the game, too, but her game may link her to the Otto family more than she realizes if she ends up liking Jake more than she’s willing to admit.
