Fear The Walking Dead, Red Dirt: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
16) This episode seems to get its name from Jeremiah’s drunken rambling that “There’s blood in it. It’s in the earth.”
17) Additionally, is there more to the dispute between Broke Jaw and Black Hat that Jeremiah isn’t telling us?
18) Alicia mentions that she’s been in love. Presumably, she’s referring to Matt, who’s been getting subtly referenced a lot lately.
19) Madison’s lie about Walker being responsible for the attack on the Trimbols to rally the community is reminiscent of Rick lying to The Group to get them ready to go to war with Woodbury in Season Three of The Walking Dead.
20) Between Madison rallying the community together and trying to guide Troy, this seems to be the “take over” she was discussing in “The New Frontier”.
…I’d like to know where this whole thing is coming from, though. It still feels like the far side of left field to me.
