#3. Where are the acting Emmy nominations?

It’s always nice when the Emmy Awards recognize the great people from makeup or stunts on shows like The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead, but very rarely does an actor from the two series ever get a nomination for an award based on their performance.

The biggest snub has to be Melissa McBride, who should have at least two nominations for her fantastic work during season 4 and season 6. However, not having Andrew Lincoln nominated for season 7 is a straight-out crime.

While these performances are greatly appreciated by fans of the show, it appears as though they aren’t as enjoyed by the people making the decisions at the Emmys. Nominations have come through for Fear The Walking Dead: Passage and Flight 462, but the two major shows always seem to be on the outside looking in.

Thankfully, fans of these zombie shows don’t put too much stock in awards. With the insane ratings these two shows get and how passionate the fans are, the nominations and awards would be great…but definitely not necessary since the show is a massive successes without critical acclaim from the Emmys.
