  • 12:00 pm: Read-Alikes: What to Suggest When Patrons Have Already Read Smile and The Walking Dead – A panel featuring librarians and other experts discussing alternatives for people who enjoy Kirkman’s zombie comic book series. (Shiley Special Events Suite, San Diego Central Library)
  • 3:00 pm: Robert Kirkman: In Conversation – The creator of TWD will discuss the zombie franchise, Invincible, Outcast, and much more in a conversational setting. Arrive early, as there will be line. (Room 6A)
  • 4:30 pm: Art Heroines: Using Science to Help Create Art – TWD VFX supervisor Kaitlyn Yang and others will be talking about using science to further your art projects. (Room 26AB)
  • 5:00 pm: 25 Years of Rob Liefeld Creations – In a panel moderated by Robert Kirkman, comic legend Rob Liefeld will discuss his work with Marvel Comics as well as celebrate the 25th anniversary of his Extreme Studios and Image Comics. (Room 5AB)
  • 5:00 pm: IGN’s Game Changers: Nerds Win. What’s Next? – TWD executive producer Gale Anne Herd and others will be on hand to talk about the future of film, TV, games, and comics by breaking down trends and speculating on what is next. (Room 7AB)
