6. Glenn Will Return When Baby Rhee Arrives

One of the most emotional moments of The Walking Dead season 8 will be the arrival of little Baby Rhee. Actor Steven Yeun has said that he would be excited to come back and reunite Glenn and Maggie when their baby is born.

Since The Hilltop now has no doctor and Maggie’s had a tough pregnancy it’s plausible that during a tense and difficult delivery she will hallucinate and see Glenn, and maybe Hershel as well.

The birth of Baby Rhee will be very emotional for fans who are still grieving for Glenn. It would make a bittersweet moment a little more poignant if Glenn returns, even as a hallucination.

If Glenn doesn’t appear in a hallucination the writers might just create a special scene for Glenn seeing his baby the way that they created the scene of the future that wasn’t to be in the season 7 premiere. That scene of all the members of Team Family together was a gift for the fans and an emotional tribute to the journey these characters have taken together.

Even though Glenn is gone his presence is still strongly felt. Maggie has channeled her grief into making her life a living legacy for Glenn. It wouldn’t be surprising if Glenn returns to be with Maggie in spirit when his child is born.
