7. Rosita Won’t Make It Out Of Season 8
Rosita’s attitude throughout season 7 and her recklessness had many fans thinking that she shouldn’t have lasted through season 7. But in the end it was Sasha who didn’t make it past season 7. However, the chances are good that Rosita won’t make it out of season 8.
It’s understandable that she was grieving for Abe and was struggling to deal with everything that happened so she was lashing out. But her focus on killing Negan was working at odds with Rick’s plan to try develop an organized and methodical rebellion against Negan.
Rick wants Negan dead too. As does Maggie. But those two were rational enough to see that they had to wait and regroup so that they could form a plan. They’re not going to get multiple chances to take Negan down. The two of them know that they have to go after Negan and The Saviors the right way and at the right time.
Rosita’s half-cocked murderous rage got Olivia killed, Eugene taken, and eventually led to Sasha’s decision to sacrifice herself. Rosita’s selfishness is going to get more people killed unless she gets her emotions under control. And she’s shown no signs of doing that. It’s possible that her attitude could change now that all the groups are going to war together, but it probably won’t. And that will eventually get her killed.
