8. Heath Will Reappear

Heath disappeared in the early half of The Walking Dead season 7. When he and Tara got overrun on the pier he took off. Tara ended up in the water and washing up at Oceanside. At the end of the episode when Tara finally made it back to where they had been overrun there were signs that Heath might have gotten away. But there was no sign of Heath.

Throughout season 7 fans speculated about whether or not Heath would come back to the show at some point. His exit was very ambiguous so it would be easy to bring him back. Corey Hawkins, the actor who plays Heath, was a lead on the Fox show 24: Legacy. But that show was cancelled, which could leave the door open for Heath to come back in season 8.

When Heath was last seen he was having a hard time accepting the slaughter at the Saviors outpost. Heath, like Glenn, had never killed a living person until that slaughter. At this point Heath still doesn’t know that Glenn and Abe were killed. And he doesn’t know how dangerous The Saviors really are.

Heath is a capable fighter though and Rick and the rest of the survivors could definitely use his help. Heath’s storyline was never really explored so it would be nice to see Heath brought back. With all the characters who didn’t make it out of season 7 the show needs to bring in some new characters. Hopefully Heath will be back to help the Alexandrians as they go to war.
