Fear The Walking Dead SDCC trailer reveals a lot about season 3B

The trailer for Fear The Walking Dead season 3B debuted at SDCC on Friday. It revealed what’s coming for the residents of Broke Jaw Ranch.

Fear The Walking Dead dropped a new trailer for season 3B at the end of their panel at SDCC today. Judging by the trailer Fear is going to maintain the taut intensity of season 3A. That will cement season 3 as the season when Fear The Walking Dead finally found solid footing.

There’s a lot of information packed into the short trailer. The first thing that’s evident from Fear The Walking Dead SDCC trailer is that the ranch will not be peaceful just because Jeremiah is gone. Walker and his people are moving in. But the tension between the two groups isn’t going away.

The people already living on the ranch are suspicious of Walker and his group. And supplies are going to start running low fast once all of the Native Americans move onto the ranch land. Access to water becomes a crisis.

The Otto brothers are fighting between themselves for control of the ranch but both agree that Walker and his group are a serious threat to the safety of everyone on the ranch. It looks like Walker regards Madison as the leader at the ranch, which both Otto boys are likely to have a problem with.

Reunions At The Dam

It looks like Madison and possibly Nick are going to head out in search of water and find the dam. Lola is still in charge there and is doing what she can to lead the group at the dam. Madison talks to Lola about their need for water.

And in one clip Daniel comes across Madison, probably when Madison is approaching the dam. So one of the reunions that fans have been waiting for is finally going to happen. Daniel and Madison are a formidable team so it will be exciting to see those two team up. And Madison will be able to tell Daniel that Ofelia is alive and back at Broke Jaw Ranch.

Strand also appears to have ended up back the dam. There is a clip of Madison and Strand talking. Although the voiceover seems to imply that relations between Strand, Madison and Daniel might not be as friendly as they used to be. Will one of them betray the other? Will they all betray each other? Frankly all of them don’t have a great track record when it comes to displaying loyalty.

Tensions Boil Over At Broke Jaw Ranch

There are several different clips of ongoing tensions at Broke Jaw Ranch. There’s also a lot more walkers coming around the ranch that the residents will have to learn to deal with. The militia has been decimated by Ofelia’s anthrax attack so more residents of the ranch are going to have to step up and be willing to kill the infected.

Jeremiah Otto and his racist attitudes are gone, but his racism and bigotry is shared by many of the surviving members of the ranch. They never wanted Walker and his group on their land and they’re not going to share their space or supplies willingly. They are also afraid of an imminent attack by Walker and his group who outnumber them.

Relations between the two groups are going to form the major conflict in season 3B of Fear The Walking Dead it looks like. Even now it’s obvious eventually the two groups are going to face off for control of the ranch.

Where’s Luciana?

There was no sign of Luciana in the Fear The Walking Dead season 3B trailer. But it’s unlikely that Luciana is gone for good. Hopefully she’s going to head back to the ranch or possibly make it to the dam where Lola and Daniel are.
