There were some great moments from the panel of Fear The Walking Dead season 3B at Comic Con International in San Diego. Here are the highlights!

While everyone is talking about the massive trailers that dropped and the premiere dates for The Walking Dead season 8 and Fear The Walking Dead season 3B at Comic Con International, there is much more going on.

In fact, the panels are one of the most awesome places to be at the event. Not only are the cast and crew from the show on hand, but information about filming, casting, history, and future of the show can all be learned there.

Here are some highlights from the Fear The Walking Dead panel on July 21, 2017 as shared on the official Twitter accounts of The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead:

Of course, the first thing done by panel moderator was to have a moment of silence for John Bernecker, the stuntman who lost his life while filming on the set of The Walking Dead.

Fans have been trying to figure out a connection between The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead for many years now. Whether it is Madison being related to Rick, Nick being a member of The Whisperers, or whatever theories people have, creator Robert Kirkman likes the idea of tying the two together somehow.

In a show centered around the undead, it truly is the people that make or break AMC’s zombie dramas. There are good people, bad people, and some who are inbetween…but watching them interact as the world around them dies makes for excellent television.

Madison made some very tough decisions in the first half of season 3. However, the actress who plays the character feels those moves were made to keep the people she loves safe from harm, and not to gain power at the ranch.

At the end of the first half of season 3, Victor Strand seemed to say farewell to his old life of hustling and manipulating people. Does that mean we will see a new version of the former con man in future episodes?

Strong women were on full display in Fear The Walking Dead season 3A. Madison taking charge, Ofelia going off on her own, Alicia being vocal about her situation, and even Lola holding down operations at the dam were all great situations for powerful ladies in the apocalypse.

Madison’s obsession with Troy is an interesting one. She feels she can manipulate him, or even control him to do what she believes is right…but is she wrong in trying to harness the mentally unstable Otto boy?

One character that shouldn’t be questioned much is Ofelia. She has survived on her own for a long time and made some bold moves when needed to continue surviving. She may just be realizing now how much strength she really has.

Walker is an intriguing character because there haven’t been any like him on either Fear The Walking Dead or The Walking Dead. His representation of the Black Hat made for compelling television without buying into the ‘cowboys and Indians’ stereotypes of other shows and films.

Finally, the entire hall sang Happy Birthday to Alycia Debnam-Carey as the panel came to a close.
