The moment that many fans of The Walking Dead has been waiting for has finally arrived. The trailer for season 8 has been released at Comic Con International and fans are going crazy from the intensity.

The video, released on Friday, July 21, 2017 was first shared at the Comic Con International panel in San Diego, California to a hall full of fans and media who have been waiting for this moment for months.

More from Undead Walking

There are many things happening in this video and many of the most popular characters on the hit AMC zombie survival drama were featured, giving fans just about everything they could hope for.

But, more important than the characters being showcased is the fact that war is taking center stage in the trailer. The people take a backseat to the conflict pitting The Saviors and The Scavengers against the combined forces of The Hilltop, The Kingdom, and Alexandria.

Usually, one of the big reveals during the trailer at Comic Con International is the premiere date for the upcoming season, but that was previously released in the key art which was put on display during preview day and even at the airport and other places.
