#1. Citizen cane

Misty Davis on Facebook asks: “I would like to know your thoughts on the season 8 trailer…specifically the cane that is shown and focused on in the last 20 seconds… I am not a comic reader but know about the time jump and various things from others sources so that is not really what I am wondering about…I have this feeling that I have seen that cane before I just cannot place where I have seen it..I know it isn’t Ezekiel’s because his has a bird head as the handle…I am I losing my mind or does anyone else recognize that cane???”

Fans have been losing their minds over that final scene from the season 8 trailer revealed at Comic Con. There are some big theories being floated around about what it all means, but Misty instead chose to focus on a detail from the video.

The cane that Rick uses in the final scene of the trailer does have a familiar look, but like Misty said, it’s definitely not from King Ezekiel of The Kingdom because of the ornate design of the top piece.

However, it is unknown as to where this cane was seen before…or if it was even used on the hit AMC show. Still, fans of the comics (or those who have heard the spoilers from the comics) know exactly what this cane is and what it means for the future of Rick Grimes.

If anyone has seen this cane before or even if they believe they have not seen it in the hit television show, let us know in the comments below…because while it looks like something familiar, it isn’t coming to me at all.
