What’s next for Madison in Fear The Walking Dead season 3B?

What should fans expect from Madison Clark when Fear The Walking Dead returns to AMC for season 3B on Sunday, September 10, 2017?

Madison Clark is one of the most polarizing character on Fear The Walking Dead. Sometimes, she focuses on protecting her children from the apocalypse and other times she gets caught up in the struggle of power.

Following the events from the first half of season 3, Madison is in a bit of a pickle. After losing Travis in a surprising fashion, she made the bold move to offer up the head of Jeremiah Otto to the people of the Black Hat Reservation to make peace between them and the survivors on the Broke Jaw Ranch.

Heading into the second half of the season, she’s got a lot of work to do. First, she will need to either keep the secret of her actions with Jeremiah or attempt to smooth it over with his sons, Troy and Jake, as well as the others on the ranch.

Plus, at one time both of her kids were missing in the first half of season 3 as well as in previous seasons. This is something Madison will need to focus much better on in the future if she wants to be taken seriously as a matriarch on the show.

Madison seems focused on gaining power and counseling Troy Otto. Troy may be far beyond help, as her school counselor background hasn’t quite prepared her for someone with such severe family issues…and is a murderer.

Moving forward, Madison will likely establish herself as the leader of the group at the Broke Jaw Ranch. That may not sit well with Troy and Jake Otto, who were already preparing to take over in the event of their father’s death. She will likely struggle to maintain that balance, opening up the group to more conflict and danger from both inside and outside forces.
