One of The Walking Dead star’s side projects, Ride With Norman Reedus, will launch season 2 in November.

Last year AMC debuted a new series that featured The Walking Dead fan favorite Norman Reedus. Ride With Norman Reedus is a reality show that follows Reedus as he explores different regions of the country on a motorcycle, stopping to visit local sites and talk to locals along the way.

Bolstered by Reedus’ immense fan base from The Walking Dead the show did fairly well in the ratings for AMC. They renewed the show for a second season almost immediately after it premiered.

Ride shoots during The Walking Dead’s filming hiatus so Reedus doesn’t have to take time away from filming TWD in order to make Ride episodes. Many of the The Walking Dead actors work on other movies and TV shows during the filming hiatus of The Walking Dead or when they aren’t needed during TWD’s filming in the spring and summer.

Norman Reedus announced the premiere date for the second season of Ride on Instagram. Season 2 of Ride With Norman Reedus will premiere on Sunday, November 5th. The second episode of the season will air the next night in the show’s regular time slot: Mondays at 9PM EST.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan May Pop Up In Ride Season 2

Last year while talking about the second season of the reality adventure show Norman Reedus teased that another star of The Walking Dead might turn up on Ride in season 2. While he never named Jeffrey Dean Morgan directly it’s a pretty good bet that he’s the mystery star.

He and Norman Reedus are very close friends and JDM is also a motorcycle enthusiast like Reedus. The two often post short video clips of their rides to and from The Walking Dead set on social media.

It looks like AMC will continue its habit of airing shows after The Walking Dead to try and boost their ratings. Even though this tactic often angers fans in this case fans probably won’t object since many of them have been anxiously awaiting the return of Ride With Norman Reedus.
